§ 01
WHO I AM

Anthony Guzman

I'm driven by continuous learning and a sense of service — anchored by faith, honesty, and humility. I believe true skill is measured by the integrity of what we do when no one's watching.

§ 02
WHAT I STAND FOR

Security is a people problem first.

Most breaches don't happen because the firewall was too thin. They happen because the person behind the keyboard didn't know what to look for, or didn't have the tools to respond when it mattered.

That gap bothers me. My goal isn't just to work in security — it's to help close it. Through writing and sharing what I learn, I want to make security literacy more accessible to the people who need it most: small business owners, everyday users, the people who don't have a SOC or an IT department backing them up.

“Companies spend millions of dollars on firewalls, encryption and secure access devices, and it's money wasted, because none of these measures address the weakest link in the security chain: the people who use, administer, operate and account for computer systems that contain protected information.”

— Kevin Mitnick
§ 03
WHY CYBERSECURITY

The rules changed. I want to help write the new ones.

The industry has been shifting toward AI — and that shift has rewritten the rules for both defense and offense. The attack surface is expanding faster than most teams can adapt to.

I want to be part of the answer to how we raise the security baseline together — not just for enterprises, but for everyone.

§ 04
SERVICE & DISCIPLINE

Something larger than my own career.

I'm in the process of enlisting in the United States Air Force. I didn't come to that decision quickly — it was the result of a long conversation with myself about what I value: structure, discipline, and the opportunity to contribute to something that matters beyond my own career trajectory.

The Air Force operates on three core values. I want to live them in uniform and out.

INTEGRITY FIRST
SERVICE BEFORE SELF
EXCELLENCE IN ALL WE DO
§ 05
BEYOND CYBER

Generalist, by design.

I don't want a narrow career. I want to be a generalist — fluent in cybersecurity, but also in the things that surround it: real estate, business operations, content, the way teams actually work.

I'm hungry to listen, to study, and to build with people from different backgrounds. Curiosity should make us generous, not territorial. My promise is simple: I'll bring passion to my work, share what I learn, credit the people who helped me, and keep my compass set on integrity and service.

If that's the kind of teammate you're looking for, I'd like to meet you.
